Living for the Weekend

I can’t wait for this weekend to get here!

Finally, it is Friday afternoon and I’m ready to kick it off with a bang.

Tonight we are meeting with a group of friends, two of which have birthdays today (Happy Birthday Lucas & Thad), grabbing a bite to eat at one of our favorite resturaunts and then rollin’ up to NewSpring for Lee McDerment’s CD Release Concert!

Then tomorrow, Teresa and I are traveling up to N.C. to spend the weekend with our two best friends, Caleb and Jordan (my college roommate and his wife), to party up in Charlotte all night long! Rumor going around is that we will actually hit up the Cheesecake Factory for the second time in a row. I’m sorry, you just can’t go to the Queen City without experiencing the dessert of the angels, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Cheesecake from the all to famous Cheesecake Factory. It is smack your grand-momma in the face, I will punch you in the throat if you try to touch it, finger lickin’, lip smackin’, chill bump givin’ good! 

What can I say, my absolute favorite city in the entire world with the most amazing dessert you could ever put in your mouth, shared with the most incredible friends God could ever give us. I’m here to tell you, it doesn’t get much better than that!!!

And to top off this amazing weekend, we are finally hitting up ELEVATION CHURCH to hear STEVEN FURTICK straight up bring it! Yep, we will have the entire crew meeting us up there so make sure to check out our Road Trip Highlights next week when we get back.

It is going to be a phenomenal weekend of being around the people I love the most in this entire world and sharing with them the things God is doing in ALL of our lives. I can’t wait to see what God does to stretch each one of us through this very exciting weekend. Please pray for us as we travel.
